r/FolkDao is a community dedicated to the discussion, study and practice of the so called "folk daoism" and "folk chinese religions", including also folk traditions of the broader sinosphere. It's a place not only to talk about folk traditions, but occult and esoteric practices in these contexts as well.

I have been reading wikipedia's entry about neoplatonism and lesser known neoplatonist authors, then I went into a rabbit hole about ancient lost works and this whole topic made me curious about it: is it possible to petition a daemon for them to "recover" or somehow transmit to you lost works? Let's say the entire collection of Aristotle's lost works, or many destroyed biblical apocrypha, etc.

What are your thoughts about his philosophy of polycentricity?
