New painter here trying to gauge how much dry brushing is needed for speed/contrast painting. I did a few passes with a light grey base from citadel and then also a pass with pro acrylic titanium white.
Should I add more white?

I have an idea for how I want to mount a mini to a base but this will be the first time I have undertaken a project like this. I am hoping it is possible, would love for a confirmation and any tips.
I have an older C'Tan Nightbringer model that uses a smaller base size. Ideally I want to keep him on his original base with a detachable sub base. The model has magnets on the bottom and I plan to mount corkboard on the proper base size using superglue, super glue layers of corkboard together to get the correct height and carve some holes in the top to add magnets. This would allow me to remove/attach the model as necessary.
I would then finish off the model by using citadel astro granite.
Would this work the way I think and be the proper order of steps?
