Getting into cycling on a budget - found this Specialized Allez Elite, owner dropped price to $350

New to road cycling and trying to find a solid used bike without breaking the bank. Came across this Specialized Allez Elite — originally listed at $500, owner just dropped it to $350. Seems like a good deal but wanted a sanity check from people who know more than me.

Specs I can see: red/white paint, FSA Gossamer crankset, Zertz damping system on the fork, Shimano STI shifters (105-level?), ALX298 wheels, Pirelli P7 tires, drop bars.

Based on the parts I’m guessing it’s a 2005-2006 model — can anyone confirm from the photos? Also curious if $350 is a good price for a bike this age, and anything I should watch for before buying (planning to test ride and inspect in person).
