Took this during my son’s field trip. Not exactly the most glamorous "work from anywhere” setup but this is probably the part of remote work I’m most thankful for. 🙏

As a single mom, being able to bring my laptop, get some work done in between, and still show up for school activities means a lot to me. But I’m so thankful for this setup.

I get to work, and still show up for the things that matter to my kids. I can bring the laptop, find a decent signal, and make it work somehow.

WFH is not always this cute. There are late nights, unstable clients, random deadlines, and days when flexible schedule feels suspiciously like work whenever there’s wifi. 😂

Not the perfect work-life-balance, but at least I don’t always have to choose between being present for my kids and getting work done. I’ll take that win. ❤️

Disclaimer: I wasn’t working the whole field trip. Mostly quick PO approvals lang in between activities. As a single mom, this kind of flexibility is my version of work-life balance. I get to show up for my kid without completely dropping work for the day. That works for me. 😁

Project-based/part-time, starting ASAP until end of October, around 14–21 hours per week.

After Tree’s Biscoff Toast: 100/10.

Very SG Kaya Toast vibes, except may Biscoff, ice cream, and zero attempt at being healthy. As it should be.

Java Chip: 7/10. Okay naman, but a little too sweet for me. The toast already took care of my sugar quota for the day. 😂

Ambiance: 9/10. Weekdays siguro perfect. Less people, may signal, mukhang kaya mag-work peacefully.

Adding this to my growing list of places where I can pretend I left the house for productivity. 😂
