Shifting Rant

I am actually shifting from my PG, cause of very stupid reasons, but let's keep it aside. Guess what I came across while cleaning and packing stuff.... books (ofc not mere padhai wale) read almost all of these, some i have read just 60% of it but makes me feel so proud for some reason lol

New Phone 🥹

So I recently celebrated my 23rd birthday 🎂 and my parents decided to gift me an iPhone😭😭
They told me i could go for the iPhone 17 or something but idk i am too scared to hold something that costly and also the prices skyrocketed for the base model 😭 so i went for the iPhone 16 instead
And fahhh i feel so new and alien like jumping from android to iPhone
But i am soooooo happy and excited tho 🥹🥹😂

Can y’all suggest me tips and tricks for good pics and to prolong battery life and stuff🥹🥹

P.S consider me a noob when it comes to tech btw

Impulse bought Kafka because of a Pinterest quote and i need opinions

Was scrolling Pinterest and stumbled on this quote from Metamorphosis — "I cannot make you understand. I cannot make anyone understand what is happening inside me. I cannot even explain it to myself."

Something about it just hit different. I'd been hearing about this book forever from so many people and never got around to it, but that quote made me open Blinkit and order it on the spot lol.

Also grabbed Dostoyevsky's White Nights while I was at it because why not go full existential crisis mode 😅

Haven't started yet but I'm genuinely excited. Anyone who's read either of these — where do I begin? And does Metamorphosis live up to the hype?

Your girl who spends 90% of her time cooking up entirely fictitious romantic scenarios with her crush finally cooked something real today (with considerable supervisory assistance from her masi)

An Odia summer plate of extraordinary magnificence — that I contributed to by washing utensils, at my mamu's place😋

Bhata, dalma, chips, amba and tomato chakta(i forgot to take a pic of that)

The cooking? My masi, entirely her genius.

My contribution? I washed the utensils. With considerable enthusiasm, I must add.

And yet here I am, posting it on Reddit as though I had anything whatsoever to do with it. 🥭🍚

She cooked and I simply... documented it.
