What's up brothers and sisters! Title says it all, our local doesn't sell things at our hall (no coins, shirts or anything like that) and I'm trying to help change that so that whenever people are traveling through the area they can swing by and grab some swag and what not. I know the general fund isn't allowed to profit, but is there anyway that our local could make a separate fund just for merchandise and activities (we only host 1 event every year and it's for the retirees). Any advice would be appreciated!

I'm wanting to do a nuzlocke of pokemon shield, I have all the dlc for it, and I was wanting to know the best way to approach encounters. Do I only go for the "!" grass or what is the best way to play it? And would I treat the isle of armor in a similar fashion as the wild area? I'm thinking about potentially making it a mono normal type run but we'll see

Title pretty much says it all. For those of you who read the apocrypha, what do y'all use to read it? Catholic bible translation or something with a designated apocrypha? I saw there's an esv with apocrypha on the acna website but figured I'd ask here to see what preferences are.

I'm coming on here to ask if any of y'all in the various different locals have worked something into y'all's contacts or bylaws that would allow for retirees to have insurance benefits once they retire, or any sort of way y'all were able to add in an early retirement age (think like 55-60). It just sucks when we're in a meeting and I hear about a brother or sister passing away and they had just retired not even 2 months prior. So if there are ways you have gotten your locals to provide for the retirees or make it a good bit easier or better for them in away please let me know. Have an awesome Friday

So I'm going to my first LGS kinda tournament this Saturday. It's a 2 headed giant tournament, and I planned on using my upgraded abzan armor precon (upgraded to be upper bracket 3). However, on the website it says no overlapping cards, and I was going to have a partner going into the tournament but he dropped out so now I'm hoping somebody is gonna need a partner. My question would be what cards should I drop so we don't have any overlap? I already dropped my Sol ring and arcane signet and just swapped them for things that would play well in my deck that not a lot of others use. I'm hoping to be able to find someone using a red/blue deck because that would be great. What are some other cards that y'all would drop that everyone seems to use if you mostly just wanted to play a supporting role to someone else?
