I currently have a Samsung smart watch so I use Samsung Health to collect the data from it. I also run regularly but I could not connect my smart watch to Strava so I don't use Strava. I simply write down the data from Samsung Health in a note in my phone's notes app (I also recalculate the pace because the total distance is always off).
My ideal health app would be completely offline (does not require internet, no account system and does not send my data to a server or store it in a server), as inclusive as possible (meaning I can store pretty much any health data in there including things like bodyweight, height, VO2 max, resting HR, weightlifting workouts), and designed well (simple and nice UI). Are there any apps that fit all of these criteria? Do any apps come close to this at all? What apps are the closest to all these criteria? I am absolutely tired of sharing my health data with some companies that later sell my data!
I use CachyOS + KDE Plasma. The keyboard layout that I use is Turkish Q. It works when I am logged in, but in the log in screen, my keyboard layout is set to English Q for some reason. Because of this the locations of some characters change and this is REALLY inconvenient. I am using KDE Plasma 6.7.1 with KWin (Wayland). Please help me.
Ran my first 8k (32 laps of 250m) today with 7:48/km pace. Average heart rate 161 bpm, max heart rate 180 bpm. This was my first run longer than 5k!

My last static apnea PB was in July 2025, and it was 1:51. Today (6th of June 2026) I broke my PB and my new PB is 2:02. However, I haven't trained static or dynamic apnea in the time between these 2 PBs. I have been running consistently for the past 2 weeks, maybe that has contributed to this. How is it possible to get a new PB so easily? Has the cardio helped me?
Note: I am not a freediver, I just love swimming across the bottoms of pools while holding my breath. This was the subreddit that is most relevant to static/dynamic apnea that I could find.
I am a beginner runner (18M). I have been trying to start running consistently for around 6 months and this is the first time I have ran more than 2 times in a single week. In fact, I have ran 4 times in the past 9 days (including this day). The previous 3 runs got my heart rate up to about 180-184. I had heard that easy runs are necessary for proper recovery from some YouTube videos so today I decided to do an easy run and I ran 3 km (1.86 miles) with 7:18 per km (11:45 per mile) pace. My average heart rate was 150 bpm and my maximum heart rate was 163 bpm this run. I think this was pretty easy. However, I started feeling pain in the outside ankle of my left food at around 2.9 km (1.8 miles) into the run. I think I need to mention that I run in laps of 250 m (820 feet) (0.155 miles) and I ran in the direction that required me to turn left in all 4 of my runs so far. I am not sure about the cause of this pain and I don't know any way to prevent it from happening with my lap setup.
