Am I nuts? I’m entertaining the idea of selling my Grandmother Dark so that I can buy a vintage Prodigy…or possibly putting that money into savings for a newer Minimoog when all the flippers come back to earth from their insane inflated prices.

I love the grandmother, but I’m still sort of underwhelmed by the sound.

What would you do?

I’m trying to make a classic Minimoog bass sound (ala 80’s pop, not necessarily the P-Funk sound) on my Grandmother. None of the patches out there really sound close to this. Is it even possible? Do I need the third oscillator? Should I be patching into the low pass filter?
Thank you for any help you can provide, I’m still pretty much a novice at this.

If I already put a song together, using song mode , Isn’t this something that can just be done with a USB connection from my live II directly into my Mac? Thanks.

Every time I download an expansion, it is just giving me the.EXE file and not the root file. How do I get to the root file so that I can load it onto my SD card?

Have any of you used any of the various MPC video courses out there that have been made mostly by YouTube content creators like Ave McCree, Malo, etc?

Which ones did you use?

Which do you recommend for absolute MPC beginners?
