Hello guys I have just built this

You just run 1 command and all your agents gets a 4000+ skill and 2000+ mcp that they can get at anytime + it's a shared network for all agents where your agent can learn from other agents mistakes

I am willing to give 10 pro access for free if you have time to test it and give me a real feedback about how we can improve it

Faulty MPC 1000, which parts should I change ?

Hello everyone,

A couple of years ago I've bought an used MPC 1000 (free JJOS) to use as the main sequencer in my live shows.
I've had quite a few problems, always found workarounds but today I'm bringing back the MPC as the center of the live and would like to try and fix a few of the problems, I'm willing to order parts etc but I'm not sure about what's causing the different things, so I was hoping some of you had the same experiences and were able to fix it!

Here's what's wrong :

- Stereo output is faulty, volume can disappear suddenly (I tried cleaning the pcb years ago but ended using Mono Outs, which is ok but i'm losing the fx section)

- In the mixer section, pan will often go crazy, jumping far right or left (that's very annoying and I'm assuming the q-link have something to do with it but I haven't found a fix yet, don't know how to position them to prevent this from happening, I which I could disable them controlling the mixer)

- MIDI IN 1 is buggy when MPC is being controlled on one channel and other channels (synths) are also receiving notes, it's looks like it's overloaded and skips notes. (doesn't happen on MIDI IN 2 )

- Also pads are tired but I don't really care about it. Except if it might induce problems elsewhere.

Hope someone has knowledge about those specifics problems. I'd really like to save it. But maybe it would be easier to buy another one :/

Thanks!

Do I need to buy a whole keyboard/MIDI Controller to get sharps and flats?

I know that there’s a keyboard mode, but when I’m using the plug-ins, I can only use the natural notes unless I go to the grid and input the sharps and flats (the black keys) myself.

Is there a way to do it through the 16 levels or something? Or is this where the midi controller comes in?

Question from 100% beginner (MPC sample)

Hello Akai Reddit community.

I am a 100% beginner to Music and Samplers and Fingerdrumming. 3 weeks ago my YT algo showed me the MPC sample and I was so intrigued that I wanted to start a new hobby.

I bought the Koala app on Android first and played around with it for a couple of days, of course realized I can't do anything more than a very simple drum beat I learned in music class 20 years ago. Left and right hand don't work independently etc xD.

Still ordered the AKAI MPC sample and got it a day before going on month long vacation were I couldn't bring it with me. So only had 2-3h to play around with it. When I am back from vaca I have 2 more days before return window closes.

Now I watched more videos and found the FGDP 50.

TLDR & Question:

for a 100% beginner what would you say makes more sense? Akai mpc sample in tandem with koala app on android, or the fgdp 50 with koala? Especially when I wanna learn fingerdrumming first and foremost and for sampling I'd have to grab ideas from yt anyway because I have no idea what i am doing.

Thank you for your help!

How would you compare the Mpc Sample to Koala Sampler ?

Hey,

I make beats for fun and i really love all my options in Koala Sampler but i do start to feel like upgrading to something more tactile.
For those who know the Sample inside out by now, would you say it is more or less flexible and complete than Koala ?

Thank you !
