POTS and Working at Five Guys?

I’ve been working at a Five Guys as a crew trainer for about a year and a half now, and I really do love
my job. I love the people I work with, I love making food for people, and god damn the grill is so fun.
But, a few months ago, I began to have my first intense flares and was diagnosed with POTS, or Postural Orthostatic Tachycharia Syndrome. TLDR, it’s a chronic illness that basically makes it very difficult to stand at times, among other things.
I was wondering if there’s anyone else that may be going through something similar? I really do love my job and was considering pushing for a shift lead position but it’s simply become too physically demanding for me. I really don’t wanna quit, and my coworkers have all been so sweet and accommodating. Any advice?

Doctor Said I Likely have POTS, now what?

I'm getting referred to a cardiologist already, but I'm admittedly worried seeing so many stories of how hard it is to get a diagnosis. It'll probably be awhile, so what should I do in the meantime? What are some really good resources? What should I be buying? My doctor recommended compression socks and vitassium salt sticks, but I'm seeing a lot of people do electrolyte packets.

I'm honestly very intimidated and overwhelmed because I am seeing so much information around and have zero idea what to trust.
