Bondi Junction Alarm

Alarm just went off 5 ish minutes before firies all the emergency doors closed like at the top of the escalators etc very muffled announcement that I think was saying to evacuate once but the alarm was just a consistent alert tone no voice announcements besides the one unintelligible one alarm seems to be off now anyone know what happened

Also we would all die in a fire no one evacuated lol

TLDR
Alarm went off in Bondi junction fire department attended absolutely zero instructions on evacuation or what to do anyone know what it was

Resort entry is a absolute scam

I’m going for 4 days with 3 people at falls creek, resort entry is 70 dollars a day but if I want to get the shuttle from where we are staying in Mt Beauty, the shuttle for a one day return trip costs more then the entire 4 days of resort entry. Is there any other alternatives?

Casual sports fields

I want to organise a game of soccer with some mates I looked at queens park and my understanding is that you have to book and I don’t want to pay to use a field is there anywhere I can just show up with a ball?

Interesting sight at Bondi

In front of the memorial for December 14th, around 3pm looked like they had a photographer with them as well. Saw a cop drive up to them before we left and then saw them driving away so assume they were told to move on. anyone know the story behind this?

Tram and Bus shared track

On some sections of the SE light rail particularly around Moore park I think. There are busses that run on the tram tracks, does anyone know where exactly this happens and also I was wondering the signalling for trans is through conduction from the metal wheels on the rails but how do the signals account for busses

Sticky up things at Bondi junction

I was on Platform 2 at Bondi Junction and noticed some little white boxes next to the tracks with an arm sticking up. Does anyone know what these are? My initial thought was smth for ETCS
