Can Tarot Cards Help With Your Intuition?

I'm so very new to tarot cards and new to spirituality, but I felt called to develop my intuition more by using them. I was gifted a deck in a slightly unconventional way, but nonetheless, I'm super excited to use them. I may have developed a bit of an enhanced intuition as well. I'm still kinda new to these things, but I was so curious how tools like these can help with intuitive practices? Like is there a certain way I have to ask a question or like "cleanse" my deck. I have no idea what I'm doing.

I'm Not Sure If I Recently Developed An Enhanced Intuition or Not?

Can this ability be developed later on in life? I can see what I describe as "visions" lately and some things that I saw or "sensed" rather seemed to come to pass. I'm not sure if this just happens randomly to some people or if I might be just wrong. Did this happen to you or have you have the ability to sense things for most of your life, if you have those abilities at all?

What’s something you only realized “normal people” don’t do after you became an adult?

Genuinely curious about this. Growing up, a lot of us think the way our family does things is just how everyone does it. Then you get older and realize that, nope, that was just your family being "unique." So, what's something you though was totally normal as a kid, but later found out other families absolutely do not do?
