Mistake after mistake on my 5th lesson (10 hours of driving so far)

Today my instructor introduced me to roundabouts, which felt a bit overwhelming at first. It feels like so many things are happening at once while I’m driving. Thankfully, my instructor is very supportive and patient.

I still feel pretty bad about the mistakes I made today. I struggled with turning right and almost hit an oncoming vehicle. I also forgot to check my mirrors and signal when stopping on the left. I’m still quite slow when entering and driving around roundabouts, and I sometimes lose focus and drift too close to the curb.

My instructor also asked if there’s anyone in my family who could take me out for some extra practice, just so I can get more used to driving. Am I overthinking this, or was he trying to tell me that I need a lot more lessons or that I’m progressing more slowly than expected?

Are these normal mistakes after around 10 hours of lessons? I can’t help feeling disappointed in myself, but I really want to keep pushing through and improve.

Habibi, Wife of Shaun Pelayo, Speaks Out on ‘Freeloading’ Controversy

Following her husband’s post asking for an accommodation collaboration, Habibi expressed her support, saying that influencers are simply giving businesses an opportunity to reach a wider audience. She added that those who don’t understand how influencer collaborations work are “bulok.”

At the end of the day, honest reviews should matter more than promotional posts.

Disappointing content creators

It’s disappointing to see content creators asking for collaborations instead of paying for their own experiences and supporting local businesses.

Translation:
Panindigan mo ’yan.

Workmates getting to my nerve

Pahungaw ra ko ba.

About 3 years nako nag work aris US but still feel nako nag adjust gihapon ko. Dinhis akong work, uso kaayo ang libak-libak.

Last year gi report ko ani sa akong manager nga nibalibad daw kos trabaho. Bisan wala, iyaha gyud gi exaggerate, maong lagot kaayo akong manager.

Akong gibuhat after ana kay naa man siyay trabaho nga sayop, akong gi balik niya ug akong gi mention nga "I let the manager know and she did not approve this work". Normally kung masayop siya, deretso nakog return niya, pina smile, and di jud na nako imention sa manager or sa uban tao, but ganeha ako gyud gi emphasize nga I let the manager know para maka tilaw siyas iyang medicine.

She said sorry pa, pero kani bitaw sila diri mag sorry with stern expression, for the sake lang. And I just replied "Okay".

This isnt my normal self gyud kay I am known sa work na di mag complaint, always saying yes. But I learned na siguro di pud ni maayo ay kay murag maka minus ning mga tawhana. Tanaw niya pwede ko niya himoong victim.

Also, the next time maabot nasad nis manager, I am ready to spill out everything she's done and more pa.

Petty kaayo but mao ra to hahahaha

Getting a British passport

Hi, I’m Irish and living in England. I recently found out I may qualify for a British passport through my dad, and I’m wondering if it’s worth applying.

My wife is currently in Asia, and I’ll soon be sponsoring her UK spouse visa as we plan to live here together.

Would there be any real benefits to getting a British passport in my situation, or is being an Irish citizen enough?
