I have a K5 GT 2.5T and I’m currently running on 93 octane.

I’m mainly interested in getting controlled pops/crackles on deceleration, preferably only in Sport/Sport+. Does anyone with a 2.5T K5 GT have a setup that actually does this? I’m looking at LAP3, EK1/Cherry, Tork, etc. If you’ve done it, what tuner/tune are you running, and what other mods do you have (cat-back, downpipe, etc.)?

I’d also like to know if the pops are actually tune-controlled or just coming from the exhaust setup.

PSDT: Year 2025-26

Hi everyone,
I’m wondering if anyone else is dealing with this recall on their 2025 Kia Carnival.
My local Kia dealership told me they first need to inspect the vehicle, and if it requires replacement, they’ll have to order the necessary parts. I’ve been told the parts are on backorder, so I’ve been waiting with no clear timeline.
The vehicle has basically been unusable for me during this process, and it’s been very frustrating not knowing how long this will take.
For those who have already gone through this recall:
How long did you wait for the repair?
Were the replacement parts backordered?
Did your dealership complete everything in one visit or did you have to come back a second time?
Has anyone had success getting assistance or compensation from Kia because of the delay?
I’m located in Florida, but I’d appreciate hearing experiences from anywhere in the U.S.
