With the new guy’s arrival eminent, it was time to prep the minivan for its newest phase of life! Such a sweet idea and really adds to the coziness of the Carnival.

I have a 2026 Kia Carnival SX Prestige. I have owned it for 13 months. Battery died two weeks ago had to jump start it. Now it died this morning with these messages after I opened the sliding door and couldn’t close it.

It’s crazy it’s a new car?? I heard about lemon law?? What can I do? Take it to the dealership after jump starting it???

This is so stressful now I’m always gone to be scared not knowing when the battery will die!

I was extremly anti-van until I realized it was our only choice with our second on the way. The carnival is 100% the way to go compared to the other options out there. 29k after taxes and fees, 82k miles.

I'm mainly here to find some ways to protect the car and see what accessories you guys recommend.

I mainly will be doing city driving do you guys recommend trans fluid flush/change? it doesn't show that it's been changed yet on the carfax report. i don't know much but im trying to learn to make this last at least another 150-200k miles. is there like a list out there somewhere that tells me what to change/check for at each interval?

My wife saw people remove the 2 seats in the middle row and putting a rug down so that's going to be one of the first few things that we do.

are there weather matts i can get only for the front seats since we'll have a rug in the middle/back rows?

lastly do you guys have a wireless carplay adapter you recommnd that is easy to switch between 2 phones?

Hi everyone! I believe I’ve seen this topic discussed before, but I cannot locate anything, so here goes.

2026 SX: My passenger view camera is touch & go. Most of the time it does not work; I get a green screen “no camera signal received, please try again later” message.

Sometimes when I leave the passenger camera on anyway (showing green screen failure message), the camera will flip on and work after a min or two. This morning it did that; green error message, then worked for a few min, then turned to a blue screen “incoming camera signal error, please try again later” then back to green error message.

Sometimes the camera works first try. No rhyme or reason.

I’ve tried the entertainment system restart but that doesn’t seem to really help.. (neither does turning car off and on)

Anyone else have these intermittent issues? Any other troubleshooting recs? (Do I have a defective camera?). Planning to bring it to the dealer, but want to see if it can be resolved :)

Seems wild to me they havent really marked down the 26's yet in my area. Anybody have any suggetions? Does this seem like a reasonable price for a 26 hybrid SX?
