Condensation on windows/frames

Hi all, recently moved to Canberra and living in an apartment. I've noticed that overnight the windows and especially the window frames accumulate a large amount of moisture and it's pooling at the bottoms of windows.

I run the reverse cycle air con to keep the apartment warm and switch it off before I go to bed. The windows are double glazed but in one room they are top to bottom and take up the whole wall and that room gets much colder than the rest of the unit.

What tips or suggestions do locals have do dealing with this issue?

Losing hope in gaining users

My app has come a long way and has small dedicated base of users but I'm not getting any organic growth and don't know what to do to get users. The users you whose my app love it and have given me such good feedback to fix and add features they want. It's at a point now where it works really well and functions as it should. But it's a bit of a niche, even though it can be used for many different applications.

My main target is field technicians, tradesman or independent contractors that need a way to easily log photos and jobs from phone to email to desktop to clients or supervisors. It works fully offline for remote workers and best of all, keeps work photos out of your phone's camera roll/gallery. I mean, that's why I built it to begin with.

I need help to promote it to get more users. Any feedback would be helpful.

Technology Contracting companies central NSW

I'm moving to ACT soon and wondering which Technology Labor hire/contracting companies operate in the mines around Central NSW. Specifically for OT technician or Network engineering roles?

Evolution mining

What's your experience with Evolution mining as a company to work for? Culture wise, etc.

What would you say to someone that has only worked on a BHP / BMA site ?

Jobs and security clearance

Hi everyone, I work in Operational Technology for a large mining company. I'm looking for work in Canberra in a similar technical or leadership role. However, most of the jobs I apply for ask for a security clearance. I don't have one and my understanding is the only way to get one is to have an employer that will sponsor the application for you.

For the different clearance levels, what's the usual timeframe and is this something many companies will do? I understand of course that if an applicant already has a clearance it's advantageous as it ticks a box and saves time.

But how is someone suppose to get one in the first place? Are they usually something that more junior/entry level roles will get sponsored for ?

Any insight would be helpful.

Thanks.

My users love my app but can't get organic growth

My app is quite simple and niche I guess. It's a job tracking app aimed at field techs, tradesman, contractors etc. Built offline first to store job details, locations, photos and more outside of complicated ERP systems, personal galleries or notes. It has automated email reporting which creates a report and attaches all photos, useful if you need to attach those captured images to other work management software or send to clients/supervisors. It works offline with automated sync.

Anyway I've got users that love it and tell me how much it automates their work flow on site. But I'm having a hard time getting organic users to use the app. People download it from IOS and android but aren't using it.

Time for a reality check I guess.
