Witchwood Bookshoppe -Theft

Hi all! I come with an odd post.

I am not from this area but I sold my books via consignment at Witchwood Bookshoppe GF.

At this time she has admitted she owes me (along with over a dozen other authors) funds but has not paid us (funds should have come back in Jan/Feb)

And now the bookstore has closed their doors.

Did anyone have any dealings with this bookstore?

Any advice on going to small claims court in y'all's area?

Hi all!!

I am officially moving up to Springfield next month and I would love to meet any romance / RH authors in the area! I would love to have someone to meet up with at cafes where we can write/bounce ideas off each other.

And in that same vein I am looking for the best cafes to go to in the area as well. The ones with comfy seats that aren't overcrowded and stay open past 5pm. I would love any and all recommendations. 🥰🙌
