Not to be rude

I’m finding this kinda easy. Much easier than I expected. It’s only day 3, but two packs a day for 36 years. I’m loving this freedom. I can breathe. I don’t smell bad. I want to do things that improve my life.

Anyone else have this kinda experience? I feared quitting for years, hell decades really, but I’m smiling through my triggers! Driving, a few beers even! Coffee and hot tubs too. I’ve been fortunate to not be stressed this week. There’s that.

Deeper breaths at day two

Today I can breathe deeper without the urge to cough and be short of breath. And my fingers don’t smell rotten. It’s not consuming me. I’m quite pleased with myself! Almost 2 packs a day and for 36 years. Wellbutrin has added an edge I needed. Wow.

Been kinda easy so far!

Today is not my quit day. It’s my first day as a non smoker. To me, that slight rephrase means a lot to me. This time, I feel ready. No one is telling me to quit, just me wanting to. I had smoked for 36 years, close to two packs a day. And today, I feel brand new! I had two long car rides that didn’t trigger me, had my meals, no trigger! Even my morning hot tub with coffee, usually have 5-8 depending on how long I soak (101° so I can soak for hours). But today seems kinda special, like I’ve found the code or something. Anyway. Stay strong out there folks.

Today is a go!

I’ve been taping for a week and using while breathing. Today I have my patch proudly on my arm. Today I break a 36 year habit. Close to two packs today.

Shop organization

Posted my shop last night, got lots of love, thanks tool folks. There were lots of questions about certain things so I went in a little deeper. Here’s a few close ups of my fav shop hacks. And while I’ve got some great organized areas, there’s also chaos!

My grinder storage is my favourite. I always had a hard time keeping this stuff organized.

My tools and shop setup

Finally hung up a few racks and had a good tidy up. Here’s two of my tool setups. I consider the whole thing as organized hoarding. Horganized if you will. Nothing special but it keeps me happy.
