Salam,

We all know that general medecine in Europe usually takes 6 years, however I heard that in lebanon they require, in order to work legally, 7 years at minimum.

So do I need to take an extra year to make them 7y, or it's completely acceptable with 6 and i directly continue into residency (internat)?

Note that i am gonna study medecine in france which is also 6y
