I just finished a 12 hour shift at work. I work at a restaurant and bar and it’s been a fucking awful day.

4 people called in sick, a good chunk of staff are on holiday, and a few left leaving us with a lot of new hires who are still learning the ropes.

We’ve been screamed at and insulted today by a lot of customers who simply do not understand we are also at our limit, we are trying, we know you are taking time out of your day to come to us and spend your money, I understand but you have no right to lecture and insult us, we are trying.

I’m not asking you guys to be kind but at least be patient, look around you, we are extremely busy, let us work and if you have a complaint, let us handle it without you degrading us and treating us like slaves and dirt on the bottom of your shoe.
