TW: death

Not able to post in most subs due to low karma/ acc age so posting here.

Lost someone in my family and I find myself crying uncontrollably. Exams start tomorrow and I’m struggling to stay mentally stable or focus. I feel overwhelmed and unable to sit with my thoughts. Has anyone experienced something similar? How did you manage grief while handling responsibilities like exams?

TW: infant loss, grief, miscarriage

I recently lost my cousin. He was barely a week old and had medical complications that led to his demise. I didn’t even get to meet him, yet I find myself crying uncontrollably.

I can’t imagine how devastated my uncle and aunt must be since this was a very difficult pregnancy after a miscarriage. I don’t even think he had been named yet and still his loss feels so heavy. He was right here in his family’s arms and now he’s gone. I don’t know how to process that.

The problem is that I have exams starting tomorrow, and I’m struggling to stay mentally stable or focus. I feel overwhelmed and unable to sit with my thoughts. Has anyone experienced something similar? How did you manage grief while handling responsibilities like exams?
