No, I wasn't dating him. 👎

No, I didn't know he had a girlfriend.

And no, I still can't believe someone had this much free time.

So last year during JAC counselling in May , I met this DTU senior in DTU public Reddit GC. Let's call him **Scumbag**.

It started off as normal branch doubts but then it somehow turned into daily conversations...

In the beginning of june he asked me for my discord since he was deleting his Reddit account 😀🙏

On discord we'd talk for hours. Watched a movie, talk about college, random life updates, sent voice notes, roblox and everything 🎉

He even made me read the smut he'd written.

0/10 experience 😭😭 Worst read of my life... couldn’t even read past 2 lines

During all this, he told me about this one friend. Let's call him **Pretend**.

According to him, Pretend was basically the ideal boyfriend 😍 Had a long-term girlfriend from IGDTUW, loved her a lot, green flag, nice guy, all that.

Scumbag somehow found my Instagram and would randomly text me stuff like "nice pfp" on dc whenever I changed it.

Looking back...

It was honestly very creepy 😭🙏

Scumbag eventually sent me his pic too and told me his name let it be "mogu" and said he was in the branch same as pretend. There are like 10 mogus in their branch btw.

Over the next few months we kept talking almost every day. I considered him as a good friend of mine by then, we eventually started flirting a bit.. he used to call me by cringey names and the shit these e boys do. He told me about a lot of things tho... yaha likhne baithi toh post lambi asf ho jayegi so let's just keep ts short 🥰

But in october our flirting gradually increased... and he'd disappear for a few days claiming he was studying, then come back like nothing happened and it was maddening honestly coz we've talked a lot till now.

Then while having a convo about dating these days he randomly said he would not date anyone for the next 3-4 years. That he would rather build a career first... basically baatein chod rha tha. Asshole.

Then the mixed signals started.

He'd flirt.

Then disappear.

Come back.

Flirt again.

In december he asked me out twice for a date that never really happened.. lol ofc

and posted here about how he cannot take this igdtu girl on a date coz dtu walo ke jaldi exams khatam ho gye

I eventually stopped taking him seriously.

Or at least I tried to.

In January... he would say stuff to me that you'd say to someone you like and this shithead got me all confused and i used to think maybe he does like me?

would say things like (see the images i sent)

Then in february this friend of his... Pretend, dms me on instagram asking me to block him coz he'd not date anyone.

We had a good talk... he kinda warned me about Scumbag.

Which... sounds like solid advice, right?

Except imagine getting relationship advice FROM THE GUY'S BEST FRIEND.

Pretend also seemed weirdly interested in what was going on between me and Scumbag.

He'd tease me.

Keep tabs on things.

Ask our mutual friend about how I'm doing

At the time I just thought...

"Yaar, maybe he's just being nice."

Mind you I did not ask for it but selfless Pretend 😍 sent me Scumbag's instagram id (which was private back then) and his pic too... Charity Service? 🥺

Fast forward to end sems.

Me and Scumbag had barely talked in weeks.

I genuinely didn't care anymore.

Someone casually told me pretend went to xyz school

that's same fking school Scumbag went to!!

Weird.

Because Scumbag had told me they met through Valorant. Then somehow college mein same class mein aagye... destiny 😍

So one day while I was talking to pretend about yes ofc scumbag I asked him are you guys friends from school ? He said... no I met him on valorant.

Small lie.

Doesn't matter...

Right?

Wrong.

That tiny doubt got me here...

A few days back I started checking the Instagram account that Pretend had once sent me saying it belonged to Scumbag. And guess what PUBLIC ACCOUNT !! omgg

Every single picture was already in the highlights that Scumbag and pretend had personally sent me over months saying that it was scumbag and the dates didn't quite match!!!

Okay...

Weird.

Got a very weird instinct what if pretend and scumbag are the same guy…

crazy.. ikr ? thought I was being paranoid coz every fucking one ik who knows pretend always talked very good about him… and scumbag was the absolute opposite of him in terms of commitment… so that can’t be true.. right  ?

I was overthinking... stalked that insta id a bit and apparently THIS GUY IS FROM MUMBAII!!?? wtff???

Then I contacted someone from their class.

Sent him the profile.

yk what he said...

"I've literally never seen this guy."

"Excuse me? whatt!!?? wdym? Ye tumhare hi class ka hai see the pics again"

"Ik all the mogus from my class yrr I've never seen this guy"

She sent one on instagram

I stared at it for a solid minute before pressing play.

I was hoping this to be not true, this to be all just in my head…

Scumbag had sent me hundreds of voice notes over the past year.

I knew that voice.

There was absolutely no way I could mistake it.

I pressed play.

...

It was him.

Same voice.

IT WAS SCUMBAG

PRETEND IS SCUMBAG

SCUMBAG IS PRETEND

Which also meant...

the guy flirting with me...

and the guy warning me about himself...

were the same person.

And that's not even the craziest part.

HE HAD A GIRLFRIEND OF TWO YEARS!!

ps: I cant write more yaar… and if you’ve read ts till here ig some of yall have figured out who I am and who this dickhead is… I’ll post what happened next later (maybe)

I want to write every fuckery that he did... but this post would be too long so yea I'll just write the important stuff. And I also got know he talked to others girls too... so yea
