High FIT and Calorotectin

Back story I’m 27 female, generally healthy no health conditions apart from recently, I started with rectal bleeding- went to a&e who suggested that this bleeding could be because I’m on my period and to take some samples to my GP when my period is finished. The bleeding lasted 4-5 days. I had severe cramps, bleeding was like I had diarrhoea but no stool. My first stool sample was rejected for too much blood and mucus. I had bloods taken, my ferritin is 8, b12 low. These where my FIT and Calprotectin results. Obviously they are quite significantly high, when I took these samples I could see no visible blood. I was referred to the colorectal surgeon on a 2ww but they can’t do my colonoscopy until the 23rd of June. I’m just wondering if anyone has had similar experiences and what the outcome for you was? Coeliac bloods was also negative.

High FIT and Calprotectin results

I am female, 27, around 11st 6 normally fit and healthy, I work as a nurse myself, which doesn’t help in situations like these.

I have recently had rectal bleeding which was no stool just blood and mucus and it was like I had diarrhoea but just blood passing - this lasted 4-5 days. A&e sent me home and told me to get the samples into GP. The reg sent me home because I was on my period and said this could be linked however I have had normal periods for 18 years, not heavy and never had rectal bleeding. PR exam was normal, the advanced nurse practitioner took me in another room and reassured me that she doesn’t believe it is this and to please follow it up and come back asap if I feel worse. My period finished the next day.
Bloods came back okay just low iron, ferritin of 8.
I did a FIT sample and Faecal Calprotectin
Fit sample - Result of 98
Faecal Calprotecin- Result of 6000 received today.
(These samples was taken when I couldn’t see any visible blood)
I’m on a 2ww because of the fit test and now I’ve received the faecal calprotectin.
I have severe stomach cramps, bowel habits have changed the last two months. I am constipated for 5-7 days and then will have diarrhoea and then constipated again.
Any ideas on what this could be as I am going out of my mind!

Blood results and symptoms

So back story, I have been feeling pretty unwell recently mainly just fatigued, bowel changes over the last two months so I am going 5-7 days without a bowel movement and then having diarrhoea then back to 5-7 days again. Recently I had what was like diarrhoea but it was just blood and mucus for 4 days, along side severe stomach cramps, which would make me cold but really clammy and dizzy on the toilet. I did a stool sample which was rejected because there was too much blood and mucus and no stool (this is all I was passing). A&e wasn’t concerned because I was on my period and said it could be linked so sent me home and said to do the sample when I’m off my period - which was the next day. PR exam was normal which someone said it could indicated something further up in the bowel. They said my blood results was fine with no concerns. I have now managed to do a proper stool sample as well as a FIT test as well as another blood test to test for coeliac. Could the low ferritin be linked to this? They didn’t even call me regarding it, I had to call them and say I’d seen my results and they said they’re going to provide me with a script. Just at a bit of a loss with everything health wise and hoping to get some answers with the samples I’ve given.
