I am planning on applying to medical school next cycle (April 2027). I currently work as a medical scribe in a clinic since March of this year. Is this considered paid patient care experience???

I have heard so many different things about medical scribing so please help out!! If you have experience in this let me know how it went for you!! or if you know of someone let me know their experience!!

I know that people say medical assistant is better for applying to medical school but i’m not sure!!

I was supposed to take the MCAT in August but on my last AAMC FL 3 I scored a 489. This led me to reschedule to a January test.

I need some help:

- I am a full time student

- Volunteering

- Work 6 hours per week

Is it realistic for me to study for next 6 months ( i have some solid hours of studying done these past 2 months in the summer as well). MY GOAL SCORE IS around 515+. I would be happy with a 514 lol.

IF YOU HAVE DONE THIS IN THE PAST OR HAVE ANY TIPS AND ADVICE WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

I bought the Uglobe questions bank 180 days and now it’s expiring in a few weeks but I’m about to buy the UGlobe comprehensive mcat course. Will it transfer over to what????

for background, I studied for 2 months for content review and did some UW qbank and then anki as well as 300 page document for psych soc. Planned to take the MCAT august 15th but i just scored a 489 on AAMC FL 1 and 2 back to back. RECONSIDERING AND NOW PLANNING TO TAKE IN JANUARY.

I want to buy the blueprint self paced course and kind start again with studying and build on content to fill in gaps. IS BLUEPRINT COURSE WORTH IT?

I scored a 489 for the past three full lengths AAMC and was planned to take the MCAT on August 15th. My goal score is 515+. For background, I use half of the UW banks and some of the AAMC practice questions along with content review videos from Professor Emaan and Yusuf for sconces / khan academy for psych soc.

I think best plan is to cancel and continue studying and plan to take exam in January 2027. What are best prep courses MCAT that have worked for you and your experiences with them.

I have looked into the Uworld comprehensive course, blueprint self paced and the princeton review. Please help me out so I can plan the next 6 months.
