I an hitting the lowest possible point in my life snd would appreciate some recs of uplifting (but not too naive) movies made in 80's and 90's in US.
I want something that ecapsulates 80's positivity and hope for better future, with vibrant atmosphere and clothing. Preferably about/for adults, as I am way to old to properly enjoy teenage-only drama (Breajfast club us not it)
Could be something well-known, I am a zillenial and saw only few movies of the era.
I think Pretty in pink, Dune and Stargate have the vibe I am looking for - can be romance, can be adventure, any genre
