This is completely out of control
Hey folks. I’ve made a couple posts here in the past about my mother. Between January-February she got 4 DUI’s, half a dozen emergency room visits, the works.
After her 4th she was released from jail, went straight to the liquor store and got plastered,
came home and tried to go get her car from the impound (AT THE POLICE STATION. WHILE DRUNK)
and I called the police, realizing she
cannot do this in normal life.
They took her away and she ended up checking into a rehab for a month. Welllllllll……
She was released yesterday after a month. Today, she drove home plastered,
walks in completely trashed,
told me she went to 2 meetings today,
and then passed out in her sneakers on the couch.
Jesus Christ. I have to be done now. My heart is going to explode, I can’t be here, I can’t hope anymore.
Tomorrow I’m getting on a plane with all of my belongings, and traveling 3,500 miles away, to the other side of the world.
I don’t want to speak to her anymore, I don’t want to see her anymore. Not until she gets a handle on this shit.
God dammit, not how I want to lose my relationship with my mom. This hurts so badly, but I can’t do this anymore. I need to get my life back.
