We have a new layer!
Our young girls are starting to lay! I’m guessing it’s one of the runners since I feel like the Cayuga’s would be laying more of a dark grey egg.
I love how much they love each other.
When I let the boys out of their coop before the girls, they immediately rush over and wait (im)patiently for me to open theirs up. It’s cute.🥰
Waffles first time in the pool!
We adopted her and 2 of her sisters from a local farm that was moving, and none of them had ever been in the water. We’ve had them for almost a month now, and yesterday she finally popped herself into the pool. Clearly, she loved it. The other two took to water pretty quickly, so I’ve been waiting for her to catch on.🦆🥰
[For Hire] Looking for someone who can help design 1-2 logos for our duck farm. Looking to spend ~$100-200 but understand if it’s more. 🦆
I have a general idea of what I’m looking for with both designs.
Is it possible my blue runner is a girl??
This whole time I’ve been convinced they might be a boy, but with their new quack, I’m not so sure..
Afternoon Swim
We have 9 ducks outside and 3 teenagers about to join the flock. The ones in the pool are Maple, Maggie, Taco Belle, and Ollie. The ones outside of it are Pancake, Waffles, Charlie, Syd, and Indie. I never knew raising ducks would be so much fun.🤩
Catching up on Friday’s show and feel the need to stand up for my ducks!
We have 12 pet ducks, and while yes, they are certainly not top of the food chain, they are full of personality and goofiness. And poop.
Also, don’t feed them bread! Peas, watermelon, and mealworms are always a great treat, though!
Simple but cute
I just find these absolutely adorable.
