HINDUISM = 33 crore gods ? Is it true??
Absolutely not , In Hinduism, the phrase “33 Koti Devatas” is often misunderstood as “330 million gods.” In Sanskrit, the word “Koti” can mean not only “crore” but also “type” or “category.” Traditional Vedic interpretation explains it as 33 categories of divine powers: 12 Adityas, 11 Rudras, 8 Vasus, and 2 Ashwini Kumaras. Hindu philosophy also teaches that the divine truth is one but can be worshipped in many forms and names, which is why different deities represent different aspects of the same supreme reality.
