Hey everyone, I am not here to promote anything. I built something and the thesis of the product is that it's impossible or very very hard to automatically do a few tasks on the website. I have tested it myself and I have also had my circle of friends test it and no one could crack it. So I am asking here if there are any playwright ninjas who can give it a try? Product : Truly typed is a document writing app which makes it extremely easy to find out how a document was created. Each document carries information such as how much of the content was actually typed, how much was pasted, how many sources were used, how many authors contributed. Each document also carries flags such as verified human, bot detected, Unverified. Unverified is for cases where humans are transcribing text looking at another tab or book. The core thesis of the product is that purely human generated thoughts will matter more and more.

Market : The primary market is Academic Journals, News media outlets and Colleges (at least for now).

Product analysis/competition : There is competition at different levels. Google docs and Microsoft word are both writing apps, but they don't really tell you if the document was actually created by a human or not. There are a ton of AI detectors that I have come across which show how much of the text is human or AI but they all are absolutely miserable. AI detection after a document has been produced is impossible, so the only way to detect AI is to monitor the process of document generation itself and that's what is built inside Truly typed.

Stage : The website is live today. This is still very early stage and I am open to conversations about money.

Customer conversion strategy - I am going to be reaching out to some people that I have contacts with (Writers, Professors) and some Journal editors for pilot project opportunities with them.

Why you : I am passionate about figuring out how to differentiate human experience from AI. I am not anti AI but I think we need to figure out a way to have continued access to humans, be it in writing, audio, video, or in-person. Truly typed is the first of many applications I wanna build in this domain. I have been building software for last 10 years and last 2 years I worked in privacy and security research. I am also a certified fraud examiner.

PS: I typed the whole thing myself.

I had started to hate the AI slop. So I built this to give schools, journals and magazines a tool which brings transparency in written documents in the front (on top in this case).

Hello everyone,

Edited- I have literally been able to bypass any and all AI detectors (Pangram, GPTZero etc) I have come across, meaning- I can get text generated from a model, massage or reformat it a bit and the text passes the detection. What I am trying to know is- what tool or process are you using to detect AI when stakes are high aka submitting thesis, papers, projects etc? Thanks
