Did I actually ovulate? Very long cycle after previously regular cycles
Hi everyone,
I’m currently on cycle day 66 and I’m starting to wonder whether I actually ovulated at all this cycle.
Normally my cycles are pretty regular, usually around 26–32 days, so this is very unusual for me. This is the first time I’ve had such a long cycle.
Looking at my temperature chart, there seems to be a possible shift around CD53, with several higher temperatures afterwards, so initially I thought I had ovulated around then. However, my temperatures then dropped again and I still haven’t gotten my period.
If I did ovulate around CD53, I would now be roughly 12–13 DPO. My pregnancy tests have been negative so far. My luteal phase is normally quite short, around 8–10 days, which makes it even more confusing that my period still hasn’t started.
I also seem to have had several possible “attempts” at ovulation earlier in the cycle, judging by the fluctuations in my temperatures.
What do you think when you look at this chart? Does it look like I actually ovulated around CD53, ovulated at another point, or could this be an anovulatory cycle altogether?
I’d especially love to hear from anyone who normally has regular cycles but suddenly had one very long/anovulatory cycle like this.

Did I actually ovulate? Longer luteal phase than usual but negative pregnancy test

Hi! I’m hoping for some opinions on my chart because I’m a little confused.
Based on my temperatures, it looks like I may have ovulated around CD21/22. Normally my luteal phase is quite short, usually only 8–9 days, so I would have expected my period to have started by now.
However, I’m currently on CD33 and still haven’t gotten my period. I took a pregnancy test this morning and it was negative.
Looking at my chart, do you think I actually ovulated around CD21/22? And if I did, has anyone had a luteal phase suddenly become longer than usual? I’m also wondering whether there’s still a chance I could be pregnant despite the negative test this morning.
Would love to hear your thoughts/experiences!

Cycle day 49, negative pregnancy tests, no confirmed ovulation — should I test again?

Cycle day 49, negative pregnancy tests, no confirmed ovulation — should I test again?
Hi everyone! This is my first cycle using Natural Cycles together with my Oura Ring, and I’m feeling pretty confused about what’s going on.
I stopped taking the birth control pill in October 2025 after being on it for many years. Surprisingly, my cycles became regular pretty much straight away. I had 6 cycles in a row that were around 26 days long, followed by 2 cycles of 32 days.
Now I’m suddenly on cycle day 49 and still no period.
Natural Cycles/Oura hasn’t been able to clearly confirm ovulation this cycle, so I honestly don’t know if I ovulated at all or if my body is still trying to ovulate. I’ve already seen my doctor about it. He wasn’t concerned and basically told me that Oura temperature measurements aren’t reliable enough to draw conclusions from and that I shouldn’t put too much weight on them.
I took pregnancy tests every day for about a week, with the last one being last Sunday, and every single one was negative. It’s now been a week since my last test. Would there be any point in taking another pregnancy test now? Or would you assume pregnancy is basically ruled out unless I ovulated much later than expected?
My doctor did offer to prescribe medication to induce a period, but he personally felt it was unnecessary at this point and thinks my period will eventually come on its own.
PCOS does run in my family, which is obviously in the back of my mind. However, until now I’ve never really had irregular cycles, and my doctor said I don’t have the typical outward signs he would associate with PCOS.
Has anyone experienced something similar — several very regular cycles after stopping the pill and then suddenly one extremely long cycle?
And if you were me, would you take another pregnancy test after a week, or is there really no point after so many negatives?
I’d especially love to hear from anyone who has experienced a random anovulatory/very delayed ovulation cycle after previously having regular cycles.

Please help me out

Can someone help me figure this out? I’m using Natural Cycles with an Oura Ring, and over the past few days my ring has been showing a lot of daytime stress and major strain. Has anyone experienced this around ovulation, implantation, or before their period?

Please help me out

This is my first cycle using my Oura Ring together with Natural Cycles. I have regular menstrual cycles that are usually between 28 and 32 days long. I had a positive ovulation test on cycle day 15, but Oura has not confirmed ovulation. My temperature fluctuated a lot before day 15, although we were experiencing a heatwave at the time. Can anyone help me interpret this?
