Is it true or false that the names Colton and Lincoln are both habitational names?
For context, Colton means "coal town" or "cole's town" and Lincoln means "town by the pool" or "lake colony".

One of my friends is named Colton and wants me to call him something for short, and I want to know what some people think is a better nickname for him.
Although they are both linked to the film An American Tail, this is not a significant similarity in my opinion, so what is your opinion?
If anyone is curious, Colton means "coal town".
