Isa itong BCAF (Baguio-Benguet Cats and Friends) sa mga unang cat rescue group na matagal ko nang fina-follow. I made it a habit to check the cat groups I follow. I noticed bigla silang nawala (pati narin ung CEU cats) sa social media even the owner of the page Atty. Karryna. As in no trace at all. halos suyurin ko kung sansan para lang malaman ano nangyare skanila pero wala talaga.
Next to Pawfectly Good isa tong rescue page na to sa may mga pinaka malalakingng dagok more often than not. Pawfectly Good has so many harassers, bashers and abusers, lack of support despite helping so many cats and dogs. Itong BCAF naman has so many many loses, severe cases, lack of help. Madalas sunod sunod silang nawawalan ng pusa despite unconditional love and effort. If you know the story of the cat Lolo Guma sila ang nag rescure skanila.
I was scrolling this morning only to see this post by the owner of the page. This is really devastating. Before posting that she posted about why she deactivated and it’s shattering. I can only imagine how she feels? Now she lost her fiancé☹ I hope we can give this cat rescue group some love and chance. Ito lang naiisp ko to give her advocacy more love and support from reddit.

Si Bing-bing po ay abandoned cat din na tinapon saamin last month. First 2 wks po na nasa amin sya ay okay naman pero parang napapansin po ng kapatid ko na may swelling ang ulo nya. 2 wks later, nagka ganito na sya. May abscess po sa bandang ilong nya dahilan kung bakit namamaga ang muka nya. Nad drain po ang pus pero sa ilong ito lumalabas. According po sa vet, ang possible reason po nito ay (1) inborn, at (2) na sa pagkatapon sakanya, maaaring tumama ang ulo, at nabasag ang part ng skull nya kaya nagka ganito.
3rd day confinement po ni Bing ngayon sa Little Paws Animal Clinic dahil kinailangan po nya mag extend. Sa same vet po ito na dinala si Mini. Nakapag downpayment na po kami sa halagang ito na binigay ng vet. Kailangan po namin ng tulong para sa remaining balance nya at sa possible pang magiging bill nya kung kailanganin i-extend ang confinement gaya ngayon.
Wala po kaming kakayanan sa ngayon na i-shoulder lahat ng vet bills. At sa totoo po hindi namin ito napaghandaan gawa ng halos rescued/abandoned po ang mga pusa sa amin. May mga sideline naman po kami pero sobrang hirap po kung dun din kukunin ang pangsariling pang gastos.
(Ang resibo po ng bill ay mula sa kahapon na pagpunta ng kapatid ko sa vet. Ngunit dahil kailangan nya mag stay ulit ngayon araw, additional 1k nanamn po on top of the bill)

I’ve been recently posting here to help cat rescue groups on facebook to get noticed. Matagal narin akong follower netong cat rescue page na to, and they are very helpful/ fast pag may na ngangailangan ng tulong sa need i rescue. But lately, sobrang walang wala silang funds.
