Been really enjoying Dawn of the Machine and had to draw one of my favorite monsters in video games. Still remember the first time running into one of these and panic firing while running like hell
Been running warlord Jinbe over the last month at locals and online and while the Penel match up is a pain regardless I tried this out as a 2 of mostly for theme and its been doing work. Been helping disrupt early game tempo and at worse it’s counter. Plus bouncing it back to hand with Law to drop again is really really funny.
Edit: Appreciate the insight in the comments! Perhaps it was a case of the stars aligning for a couple of games and getting to play it early enough to feel like it made a difference. Suppose it makes it easy to know what to cut in the future
Hello there! First time posting on Reddit in general so apologies for any etiquette errors. My friend Mac and I just released the second entry in our series Adventure Ace! The first book Valley of the Giant Snakes came out last year and we’re hoping to keep the series going yearly.
Full page art focused on telling fast, funny and exciting stories with Ace going on all sorts of imaginative adventures is our aim and we hope to keep improving with each book. It’s been a really fun experience for me as an artist getting to try and tap in to that sort of vibe you’d get as a kid playing in your backyard.
