Will I regret buying a Bravia 3 II ?

I'm buying a new 55" TV.

I'm deciding between Bravia 3 II and Bravia 5.

It's mostly for watching hockey, YouTube shows, and an occasional streaming series (I liked Ted Lasso and Better Call Saul).

I currently have a (circa 2008) 46" Sonly KDL-46W3000 which I'm still actually pretty okay fine with, but the blur on motion during hockey is getting really annoying.

So ...

Bravia 3 II is not in stores yet, but I was looking at the older Bravia 3 vs current Bravia 5 in store the other day.

Bravia 3 (IPS-style panel) has better wide viewing angles, which is actually pretty good for me because sometimes I'm watching TV from a sharp angle why playing guitar off in the corner).

Bravia 5 (VA panel) the picture gets worse from a wide viewing angle, but this aspect is probably not a deal breaker.

The new Bravia 3 II is 120Hz and appears to have the same image & motion processing as Bravia 5.

The BIG difference appears to be that Bravia 3 II is LED while Bravia 5 is Mini-LED which means B5 will have better contrast and probably more vibrant colors.

My thing is, I don't particularly care for the super striking contrast, super brightness, and ultra vivid colors of the new TVs.

I'm thinking I'll be fine with something a little softer and "foggy dark greys" instead of pure blacks.

IN CONCLUSION, I'm asking the gurus here: Will I regret getting the Bravia 3 II instead of the Bravia 5 ?

Anyone go from a 2017 RAV4 to a Bronco Sport?

I'm thinking of trading in my 2017 RAV4 XLE AWD for a 2023 Bronco Sport Badlands.

Anyone else make this kind of change?

How did it go? Any advice?

Trade in 2017 RAV4 XLE AWD for a 2023 Bronco Sport Badlands ?

I have a 2017 RAV4 XLE AWD with 155,000 kms.

I owned it since new, properly maintained. Was hit from behind in August 2024, bumper wrecked, hatch dented, the rear end was rebuilt properly by insurance company's collision place. Since then I find it has a slight uneven vibration/wobble when driving between 60kph and 80kph, but smooth at highway speeds.

Pretty sure I could sell or trade it for $14,000-$16,000 CAD.

I saw a 2023 Ford Bronco Sport Badlands with 63,000 kms at local Ford dealer, they are asking $35,999.

My car needs are:

- commute 70 kms round trip three days a week, so I'd like it to be a comfortable and enjoyable ride

- I'm a "first responder" so I need to "never get stuck" in Ottawa blizzards

Let's say the Bronco ends up costing me the RAV4 + about $20,000.

Is that a smart swap?

I have a 2026 CR-V Hybrid Trailsport and I love it.

But I regularly think about how I don't have a spare tire.

It's really a non-issue 99.99% of the time, but I continue to think about it.

Has anyone here ever experiences a problem where a spare tire would've helped?

55" Bravia 5 for $1499 CAD
vs

55" Bravia XR8B for $1599 CAD (Note: This is not XR80)

It's mostly for watching NHL hockey. And occasional stream series (examples: I liked Ted Lasso and Pluribus).

BRIGHTNESS: My understanding is XR8B is less bright, but not sure if that's a problem because mostly evening TV watching in the basement rec room so lots of direct sunlight is not a problem.

MOTION: I want the best possible motion during NHL hockey.

NATURAL PICTURE: I prefer the picture to be as natural as possible, meaning I don't like those ultra-vivid colors on Samsungs and TCL, I prefer something that looks more real and "dull" (for lack of a better word).

I prefer it took like it actually does in person at the hockey rink.

Which one is better for me? And if there's something else that's actually an even better option, let me know!

I started a new Canada federal corporation in 2025 to sell a software app.

I have zero income, and about $700 in expenses (corp fees, bank fees, online ads).

What's the simpliest/easiest/cheapest way to file my corporate taxes for 2025?

Any software suggestions?
