advice on living situation.
England- I have been living with my mum for about a month. i had to move back to hers with my 4 children 5,3, 1 and newborn.
my 5 year old suffers with sleep apnea, enlarged turbinates, suspected adhd and autism and anxiety. she recieves1-1 at school, counselling with children and young persons and waiting for the right to choose. My 3 year old is speech delayed, suspected autism and adhd referrals have gone in we are just waiting for an appointment he receives dla.
We was living in a 2 bedroom flat and bidding for a 3 but when i had the baby i couldn't cope i suffered massively with post natal depression. My flat was covered in mould, we had environmental health out due to rats on the roof. pleaded with the council for safe guarding with the children's medial issues, i was leaving my newborn and 1 year old in the street to carry my other 2 children up the stairs as the openings so small i couldn't put my buggy in the door way and my 5 year was constantly getting flare ups and not breathing in her sleep as she couldn't breath with the mould and lack of air flow so my mum said to move in with her to help me. The mould is so bad because i had a hole in my roof last year and the landlord claimed it was condensation for 3 months and refused to fix it so the whole roof was rotting.
She's just been told she's getting inheritance money and wants to buy a property but we've only lived here a month what will happen to us? I'm worried we're going to be asked to leave and stuck in a hotel or hostel. Im also worried about the disruption of moving them again especially the older 2. I am happy to cover the rent while im here or at least somewhere else is found but im my sons registered carer so i didnt return to work from my 1 year olds maternity leave so i can claim housing benefit like i was before but i have to be on a tenancy and my mum isn't sure how long she can cover the rent for and if they refuse to keep me here ill have no tenancy to send and claim for. My mum is also in a 3 bedroom council property. We are high priority due to over crowding at my mums anyway and the kids medical needs.
If anyone could help that would be amazing on what to do next. I cannot afford to privately rent a 3 bedroom+ either since loosing my job on maternity.
