Hey everyone, I’ve been loving my AeroPress Clear, but I had a quick safety question for the community. With all the news about microplastics being found in human organs and tissue (like the testes), it got me wondering about using hot water in plastic brewers. Since the Clear is made of Tritan, I know it's BPA/BPS-free, but does the heat or the friction of the plunger cause microplastics to shed into the coffee? Just curious if anyone has looked into the science on this, or if people looking to avoid plastic entirely are just switching over to the new glass/metal Premium version. Thanks!
