I'm looking for new compressor for my P-bass.
The main issue I'd like to tackle with compressor is that my p-bass has E string with noticeable higher output than the rest of the strings (for notice it was given for a setup, the pickup is lowered on the E string side but it's still giving quite strong signal). It's strong enough that sometimes when I play I can overdrive effects/amp a bit when I hit E string harder.
I watched some demos between compressors on Bass Stuff and I know whenever this question comes up Empress is the top answer but I liked the slight tone change from Darkglass. I know that others often suggest Cali76 for 'tone change' but I didn't noticed much of this in the demo for Cali. I liked that for Darkglass there was instant change in bass perception when they turned the any of the knobs on the demo.
On the other hand I'm not fan of things like usb port in effect and 'touch' buttons - I'm wondering if this thing is sturdy enough.
So my other question is there any difference between MK II and Bass version for Empress? I tried to find answers in google and long story short it was mostly that MK II is for guitar and Bass is obviously for bass but you can also use MK II for bass.
Do you have any experience with the differences between these two Empresses?
Another things is I already have Octo Comp but frankly I don't like it since the moment you turn it on it noticeable changes the bass sound but not in a good way. For me it makes the sound more muddy even in a p-bass that normally has very glossy sound.
Wiem, że póki co to tylko model ICM (i to ten 120h, mniej dokładny, żeby sięgał do niedzieli) ale wygląda na to, że pęknie parę rekordów
I was checking a few things in steamDB and I think this chart shows clearly how bad was FM26 received by the fanbase.
Almost every single edition peak around release and then stayed on similar level until the next edition release.
While FM26 peaked early and then went south immediately to stabilise at significantly lower level than the rest of the games in the series.
Last year Europa League semi-final against Tottenham. First leg we won 3-0, second leg players literally passing to the opposition to lose 6-1 (sic!).
This year also Europa League semi-final. First leg 3+ xG and we scrap 1-0 home. Away of course they win 3-0 with xG <1.5.
I know it's kind of rant and it happens but maybe you guys have any idea how to deal with such horrific performance drop between the games?
FM24 for the context.
