I’ve played for years using the basic above Fender pick. On occasion, and especially of late, the picks have developed a curvature, no matter their age. It feels as if I bent and squeezed them for a while, but as far as I know, my picking style is middle of the road. And my environment is neither humid nor dry—and my playing is not good enough to make my hand red hot. : )
Is this normal?
I keep reading (like, today, on MLB official) that we are “expected” to trade Skubal because we are not poised to win the Series. I do not understand this. If that “logic” carried, nearly every quality player in baseball would be traded every year.
What is the logic here? Just throw yourself every year into a(nother) rebuild and dump all your proven talent in exchange for some minor-league hopefuls because you are not favored to win at the deadline??
We were just walking Higuera, up north where it hits the RR tracks. While admiring the sudden appearance of monarchs, we saw the most amazing birds—two of them. They were a gorgeous bright red—had to be tropical in origin—with huge, gorgeous wingspans.
What did we see? I’m sorry I did not get a photo. We’ll look for them on the way back, in hopes I can.
Hi, I received from my pharmacy six boxes of sensors, which, per the new 15-day lifetime per sensor, should last me 90 days. But none of the boxes are labeled as 15-day sensors, yet I’ve seen newer prescriptions whose boxes have the 15-day label.
Is it possible my set of six boxes is not the 15-day version? Is there any way to determine the sensor length other than by inserting one?

I know: Naive. But I cannot be alone, so I wanted to give all a heads up.
I know this is likely naive, but I’ve watched the various plugin videos and see them as valuable. But I am confused by them.
Do they exist apart from my QC?
Does one need the QC to run the plugins?
Why would they not, just, say, drop all the Misha and John Mayer assets into the QC?? It is nearly a $2000 box!
