Posted the Season 15 PTR Druid Compilation Feedback thread

Lot of the same stuff, which blizzard continues to ignore. Probably missed a lot, but this buggy-ass PTR has me not really feeling it.

Druid was nerfed extremely hard on the S15 PTR, with not enough corresponding buffs

Might of the Ursine and Storm 2 piece needed to be nerfed, because they were single modifiers adding 510% and ~500 to ~1000% damage, but blizzard failed to compensate properly with the needed paragon and skill buffs. They DID give the Willpower buff we were asking for, which should increase our damage by 100-150% in the end-game, but it will not be enough to save many builds:

- Storm Strike was completely obliterated, and will be doing maybe 10% of its current damage.

- Storm Shred will be lucky to hit 20% of its current damage.

- All bear skills are dead.

- Ravens and Poison Creeper did not get individual buffs, meaning only Wolves will work with buffed set.

- Cataclysm is dead(er), Petrify is still useless.

- Red Moon set was NERFED, and Trample is still useless for mobility.

- It would not surprise me to see the Earth set 5 piece still bugged (it was not in the bug fix notes).

The only build which was actually buffed is Lacerate.

The base Druids are at is still good, though; so if blizzard just tweak up Paragon stuff and individual skills, revert the Red Moon change and buff the set, and change Trample into a proper mobility skill, then Druids would be an overall good place. Poison and physical damage would still suck, though, and Storm Strike is probably gone...

Yeah...Lacerate and Wolves season it is.

Series where the MC shatters the moon near the start, which breaks the barrier sealing his country off from the rest of the continent

I believe it is a web novel adaption.

It starts with the MC conquering his lands and neighbours, I think, including some wolf or turtle guardian? He eventually shatters the moon, which was a seal or test, revealing the rest of the continent, who begin to communicate with him, and upgrading his country's status. He seemed like a fallen higher realm being or something, and was trying to get back up (he was not evil or anything, but seemed constantly smug).

Read it ages ago when there was not much there, so was wondering what its name was so I can go back and see how far it has progressed.

Season 14 final patch notes are out

https://news.blizzard.com/en-us/article/24287406/diablo-iv-patch-notes

No idea why I was expecting sweeping changes from the PTR, when blizzard are known for being the slowest balance team on the planet.

Anyway, some notes:

- Resolve stacking for damage is still there (17% x 30 stacks).

- Pulverise now has to take Shockwave to get the Earth tag

- Scythe Talons spirit boon gives 5% more crit chance.

- Werebear Legendary Paragon node buffed/fixed.

- Ifeh's Dire Totem now has permanent poison damage affix because blizzard are fucking stupid.

- Greenwalker's Oath has guaranteed skill ranks for 'Vine Creeper', because blizzard do not actually know the correct name for Poison Creeper.

- Signet of Pelghain no longer works for Druids.

- Human builds still dead end-game.

- Physical non-earth builds still dead end-game.

- Poisoning builds still dead end-game.

So for season 14, it is looking like Werewolf Tornado, Storm Shred and Werebear Earth builds using The Basilisk. Grizzly Rage still dominates, but a Cataclysm build with 2 piece Storm set and 5 piece Earth set looks good.

EDIT - I FORGOT TORNADO, LIKE AN IDIOT. Werewolf Tornado was 135+ tower, on the PTR, competing with Shred for the top build. It was using Azurewrath and the freeze ring, though.

Whatever happened to Kadala (the blood shard gambling NPC from Diablo 3)?

She was Gheed's daughter, and Lorath wanted to transfigure with her horadric cube, if you know what I mean.

What buffs/debuffs do Petrify (Ultimate), petrify from Basilisk, and petrify from the Earth set share?

I know Basilisk's 100% crit chance get shared with the set petrify, but are there other shared interactions? Does the ultimate give anything to the other two?

Just hover over Toxin Outburst, and you can see it was changed from 140% AoE damage, to 70% single target damage.

So yeah, blizzard completely wrecked the poison lacerate build, and did not even bother to tell us.
