We need less of this basic “Bostonian” music.
And that’s coming from a Bostonian. Also the lyrics make no sense geographically??? If you don’t live in Boston, be thankful.

Minor spoilers for Season 4: >!When the pirates get back to the maroon camp in Season 4, it is noted that some other pirates came from as far away as Massachusetts. Later, when Flint is talking to the group, he mentions potentially ”sacking Boston.” The camera then goes immediately to this individual. Now, in terms of actual Golden Age pirates this could be, it’s one of 2 men: Samuel Bellamy, or William Fly. Bellamy has already been referenced in the show a couple of times, and this man has his signature black hair, so I theorize that this is him. I’m curious to hear your guys’ thoughts, what do you think?!<
I remember reading this book when I was in elementary school, around the early 2010s. It focused on a whale who watched this race of sentient otters come to power, I think the name of their race/species started with a P. The whale (I think) made friends with one of these otters, who were overfishing, and convinced the otter and by extension the rest of the sentient otter population to fish sustainably. I remember the ending said everything was back in balance until the humans came. I would estimate that the book was released anywhere from the 2010s to 2000s, to possibly the 90s. Any help is appreciated!
For context, I’m a techie, and I do various jobs at a number of local theatre companies. Hence, I end up working on a lot of junior shows. I know they sometimes get a bad rap, and I think that’s fair in some cases, namely those that are adaptations of existing full-length shows that “dumb down” the story. But there are also some junior shows, usually those that are something that doesn’t have a full-length version, that I think are unironically pretty decent. If anyone has seen the Madagascar junior show, I need to know if I’m alone on how good I think the music is. Like they did not need to cook that hard for an exclusively Junior-level show. I’ve seen main stage shows with worse music. And to make it worse it isn’t on any music streaming service or anything. Finding Nemo junior is another one that this goes for. Does anyone else have any guilty pleasure junior-only shows, so to speak?
For background, I’m an American High schooler, and I’ve been toying with the idea of starting a band with a couple friends for a while now. I know a few people I think would be on board. The question is, where do I go from here? What is the next step to take? Do I reach out to a bunch of people all at once, or gradually start recruiting? I don’t have people slotted for some instruments required yet (namely drums), so how do I find someone to do that if I do end up forming a band? Any expertise or experience would be greatly appreciated. :)
I tried looking it up, but I can’t seem to find anything historical about what it is. Is it an actual historical clothing item, and what is it called? I am looking to possibly incorporate it in a character design and I need to double-check it’s historical accuracy first.
