Dungeon Shamble check in

The Shamble is half over. How is yours coming along? Have you done any neat experiments? Think up any interesting stories to base the battle synth on?

As for me, i wrapped up my album today. I'm very busy the rest of the month so mine was more of a Dungeon Jog than a Dungeon Shamble. I'll be releasing it after the Shamble ends.

Looking forward to hearing what everyone comes up with!

Hello, friends. Feel free to start on your albums. Use this post as your guide. While the idea is to follow all of the "rules", the main goal of these challenges is to drive creativity. So if you're like "you know what? I want to only use 3 patches" or "my album is becoming more noisy than battle-y" that's totally okay. Although if you veer too far from the source it has likely become its own entity and is no longer a Dungeon Shamble album.

Fortuitous timing! Relics of the Eternal City has just announced their next Battle Synth compilation (I think you need to be following their Bandcamp page to see that link). We have been in communication and they would love to get some entries from the Dungeon Shamble. Check out all of their wares here. They're one of the few places making dungeon synth CDs, among other excellent merch.

Ask any questions in this post. Feel free to post progress updates here, too. And when your album is finished make a new post for it and use the Dungeon Shamble flair.

Happy making!
