TRT/Reta and endurance training?

Hi, wondering if there are any other endurance athletes on here, I.e triathlon/running long distance.

I’ve been given the bad news that my test is low, and it sort of makes sense following the side affects I’ve had for a few years.

6.7nmol to be exact at the prime age of 33.

My question is, has anyone had or has currently got any experience of being on TRT and Reta while training for an Ironman or similar?

Doc is stating my beginning dose will be 110mg of testosterone cypionate, recheck my test in 3 months , and if it’s moving well, that’ll be the sticking dose for a while.

Will this hinder my progress in terms of endurance?, will I build muscle training like this?, or will I need to/should I add in strength training to reap the benefits of the Reta and TRT?

Thanks.

Mounjaro and triathlon?

Hi, I’m wondering if anyone has a similar experience.

I’m around 94kg (15st ish) and I’m needing to get down to about 12.5stone, I’ve lost 3 stone currently and have now plateaued, with the triathlon training I cannot keep dropping calories as my fuelling isn’t enough for the training I’m doing.

Has anyone added in mounjaro while training? I have my first middle distance in August of 2027, so I have a fair while until I race that.

Please share your positive stories🙌
