Why does the 4K Xperia 1 panel feels sharper than the newer FHD+ Xperia 1 panels?
Can someone explain to me why the 4K panel on the Xperia 1 series, from I to V, feels sharper than the FHD+ panel on the Xperia 1 series, from VI to VIII?
As far as I understand, on the 4K models the UI is rendered at FHD+ and then upscaled to the physical panel resolution, using a non-integer 1.5x scale factor, which should add some blur due to interpolation. So we should get blurry FHD+ look
I’m talking specifically about text sharpness and readability in regular apps, like Settings, Notes, and social media apps
For example, when I set my 27-inch 4K monitor to 2560×1440, which is the same 1.5x scaling factor, it looked blurrier than a native 27-inch 2560×1440 monitor
Am I missing something or are my eyes lying to me?

made a mod that uses the new 2.1 landmine mechanics. mod name: Detonation
Factorio 2.1 lets land mines connect to circuit wires, so I used them as tripwires
When biters trigger a wired mine, the circuit signal changes and detonates a chest full of explosives - grenades, flamethrower fuel, rockets, and other ammo.
But the mod is not just about mines. Any container with explosive items can become a payload: destroy a chest, cargo wagon, belt full of ammo, or other supported inventory, and its contents can detonate using the original ammo behavior where possible.
You can:
- Try to work it into your defense
- Try to work it into your offense
- Troll your friends
- Organize a large-scale demolition operation
- Make a "blowing up 99,999 bombs on my NASA PC" kind of video
- Forget to limit the ammo chest and then, dozens of hours later, wonder: "Why am I at 1 UPS?"
Supports modded ammunition out of the box
mod name: Detonation
Note: the circuit-wire detonation logic is available only in Factorio 2.1. The rest of the mod also works in Factorio 2.0
