sumeshi?

i’m an incoming freshman trying to plan out my daily routine, i have plans to try all of the accessible food options on campus as a way to spice up life through the monotony of school work but several friends from other schools have given warnings against certain food groups. mainly chicken and sushi(or sushi like)foods, as their school was unreliable in the safety of serving such things. any upperclassmen have any experience regarding this? my biggest concern is sumeshi because i was lowk excited to have easy access to sushi/sushi bowls, although i am aware of the sushi place uptown as well.

Is there any arancini in NYC similar to what's in Sicily?

I'm planning a visit to NYC in December, and I am a huge foodie. I've been scouring this subreddit for recs for the past week (thank y'all btw). After a trip to Sicily last summer, I fell in love with arancini and have been unable to find them in my home city, so I was hoping to find some in New York. However, all the research I've done has been lackluster at best.

Basically, what I am looking for is a place that does a variety of arancini. The favorites I had while in Sicily were the spinach and mozzarella and caprese ones; unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to experiment much with the flavors while I was there. If this place only exists in my dreams, I apologize for filling your feeds, but it can't hurt to ask, right?

Laundry

mostly for those who have been in the honors dorms, unless all of the machines across campus are the same (would make sense i just don’t know lol).

i’m an incoming first year and i’ve been seeing online that tide pods don’t really work for laundry in machines at school. is this the case on miami’s campus and in the honors dorms (if that changes anything)?
