Hey everyone! Looking for some advice on our situation.
My husband’s I-140 is currently in processing, and since his company is doing premium processing, we’re expecting approval by end of July. I recently got laid off and switched my status to H4.
Once his I-140 gets approved, I want to apply for H4 EAD. Here’s where I need your help :his H1B is expiring on January 28th. Should we wait until he files for his H1B extension and bundle all three (H1B extension + H4 + H4 EAD) together? Or should I just go ahead and file for H4 EAD separately as soon as the I-140 is approved?
I’ve heard bundling can be convenient, but I don’t want to delay my EAD unnecessarily.
Also, does anyone know of a good website to track H4 EAD processing times? Would love a reliable resource!
