7 month old baby refusing to sleep in crib after cosleeping

We had never had sleeping problems. We started sleep training her in her nursery starting at 3 months and was able to sleep through the night no problem until 6 months. During nap times, or bedtime, we would just put her down, leave the room and she would fall asleep on her own.

Recently, she grew out of her crib so we expanded her crib and she hated it. She was also teething at this time — I realized we should’ve waited to expand her bed until her teething was over.

So we started cosleeping. It’s honestly been so nice sleeping with her and she seems so happy when she’s on our bed. I feel like the time I could cuddle with her is limited but I feel guilty for letting her sleep with us.

Now that her teething stage is over, we’re trying to train her to sleep in her crib but she cries hysterically and tries to reach for the door the moment we step into her nursery. During nap times she’s totally fine but its just for her bed time. We tried waiting 5 mins before calming her down but we end up just taking her back into our bed.

Anyone have any idea what could help her get used to her crib during bedtime again? I love sleeping with her but at the same time I feel like we failed sleep training and that it would be so much harder to train again later on.

Or is this the sleep regression?
