Navy Reserve MCWO (1885) — how is the initial training actually scheduled?

I’m interested in applying for a direct commission as a Navy Reserve Maritime Cyber Warfare Officer (1885) after completing my cybersecurity bachelor’s degree.

The current program authorization lists:
• 5-week ODS in Newport
• 3-week Cyberspace Operations Planner Course in Pensacola
• 3-week Information Warfare Basic Course in Virginia Beach
• Additional qualification requirements completed within 36–60 months

For current or recently commissioned Reserve MCWOs: Are these three residential courses normally scheduled as separate sets of orders, allowing you to return to your civilian job between them, or can the Navy require all 11 weeks consecutively?

How much additional time away from a civilian job did your qualification process require during the first three years? Were any portions completed during drill weekends or annual training? I’m specifically asking about MCWO 1885, rather than IP/CSWO 1825 or active-duty pipelines.

Thank you!

Confused about the people losing 10+ lbs a month on retatrutide...

I've been trying to understand the huge weight loss some people are reporting on retatrutide, and I'm honestly confused.

Are people losing 10+ lbs a month because they're in a massive calorie deficit and barely eating? Or does retatrutide actually increase energy expenditure enough that it's burning a meaningful amount of extra fat even while you're resting?

I know retatrutide is supposed to work differently than GLP-1s because of the glucagon activity, but I'm having a hard time figuring out how much of these results are from eating less versus the medication itself.

I just started 2 days ago and I'm already down 0.7 lbs (I know that's probably just water weight). The funny thing is I've still been eating junk food, so now I'm planning to clean up my diet, prioritize protein, and start walking 10,000 steps a day. Before this, I lived a pretty sedentary lifestyle.

For those of you who've had big success:
How many calories were you actually eating?

Were you intentionally in a large calorie deficit, or did the weight seem to come off faster than the math would suggest?

Did adding exercise like walking make a noticeable difference?

I'm trying to gauge when I might realistically reach my goal weight of 125 lbs, so I'd love to hear what your experience has been. I’m 5”4 female btw and in early 20s

Day 2 on 1mg, placebo affect or miracle drug?

My cravings use to be so bad that if I wanted something, I would order it and pay outrageous DoorDash fees just to have it. Now I have no cravings, no hunger pains, and I’m okay with eating “bland” food. I’m not sure if this is a placebo effect but I really like like this

Not sure if I’m burning any calories though as I live a sedentary lifestyle.

Down .7 lbs since Monday

Should diagnosed depression and anxiety be reported?

Went to the doctor. Got diagnosed with unspecified depression and anxiety. Was told to see a therapist. was able to leave that same day no problem.

Do I report this?
