I am going to be renovating my main bathroom soon, and am considering placing the shower head as it is in this photo since we have a smaller space and want to maximize niche space. Does anyone have experience or feedback on how practical this actually is? Are there any drawbacks to having the shower stream running diagonally into the shower from the corner when the head is mounted in the holder instead of straight from a traditional placement in the middle of a wall?

I'm attending a wedding in early June in coastal SC, the dress code is listed as "casual/semi-formal." That seems like a really broad range, unless casual is meant to signify dress casual? I'm struggling to choose dress, which do y'all think is most appropriate from these options? I'm leaning towards the pink/orange pleated dress or the green floral one.
