Weird electrical potential alternator issue. What’s going on?

Hello, I drive a 2017 Subaru Outback 3.7 L engine, it has about 108,500 miles. A couple of weeks ago while driving my whole dash just went blank, and so I took it in and learned I needed a new alternator. I got that replaced and It was working fine afterwards, however for about once a week since my engine will just randomly start revving, followed by brake light, abs light, and swerve then up, then my power steering goes out then the electrical goes out as well. Usually this will happen if it’s super hot outside, and if Im using AC. If I stop driving it for an hour or two it’ll start working again.

I have taken it back to the shop, let them keep the car and nothing happened. This same issue has happened at least once a week for the last 3 weeks, and has just been super inconvenient and annoying. As I’ve had to just drop off my car in random places, wait an hour or two, then drive back, or get a ride. Seeing if anyone has had a similar issue and how to potentially fix or to just bring back to the shop.

Development Intern looking for advice to succeed in non-profits

Hello everyone!

I’m currently a development intern for a nonprofit chapter in my community. My major is Aviation Management, but I was drawn to this internship because I enjoy helping people and felt that any meaningful professional experience would be valuable. I interviewed for the position, got the job, and I’ve been working here for a few weeks now. So far, I’m really enjoying it.

My role involves reaching out to businesses, researching potential donors and community partners, helping with in-kind donation efforts, and supporting the organization however I can.

I wanted to ask if anyone here has been in a similar position, especially as an intern or someone new to nonprofit development. Do you have any advice on how I can be more helpful to my organization, make the most of this experience, or better understand the nonprofit/development world?

Also, since this internship will likely only last for the summer, what are some of the best skills I should focus on building and highlighting for future career opportunities? Any advice is greatly appreciated, even if it's just "Love the grind" type of thing!
