Does anyone know why my baby sims are born with random skin tones? What mod could be causing that

im doing a playthrough where my sim has a secret child and reveals it right when the kid becomes an adult. the kid is now a teen and i’m ready to reveal the big secret but the scandal has now faded away and the family compendium and scandal buyer don’t work. how can i make it happen?

my sim is a teen rn and she keeps sinking to the floor and farting every couple hours, and then the sad gassy trait moodlet appears. another reddit post said to age down and age up normally (i initially used mccc) and after doing that it still didnt go away. i also tried removing the trait when she was an infant through the shift menu but it didnt work/show up. please what can i do and is it possible without aging her down?
